Unfortunately paper and proposal acceptance does not include financial support - participants are responsible for their own funding (i.e. securing grants, etc.) to pay for travel and lodging expenses. Furthermore, those presenting must be personally in attendance to present their work and in engage in debate and dialogue.

Note: the deadline for proposals for Performing Tangier 2009 has past; the quality and the volume of those submitted was exceptionally high - the deadline is strictly held.

Emerging Scholars' Panel

The conference is also a home for graduate students and emerging scholars from different parts of the world. The establishment of a new emerging Scholars' panel this year invites all voices to join the debate.
